Get down to Bokee Chinese BBQ House ASAP! They have an assortment of live seafood, my favorite is the live scallops with roe. These are notoriously hard to find around here. Their clams are also live. Very plump and juicy. Bokee also does an authentic claypot rice 煲仔饭. The socarrat on this was so good. Love the crispy bits. The focus of SE Chinese cuisine is freshness. Cantonese, Teochew, and Hokkein cuisine have a big emphasis on freshness and natural flavors, less on sauces. There's an old Teochew saying that 70-80% of the flavor comes from freshness. So if fresh natural flavors are your thing, I highly recommend Bokee and C&A Seafood. Bokee is my top 2 Cantonese restaurant in DFW, top 2 for seafood, and in my top 5 for Chinese food. We'll definitely be back!

I grew up in the bay area eating Cantonese food and have been looking for a good Cantonese restaurant in DFW for many years. I think I've finally found my new favorite! The taste of the food, atmosphere, and service were all on point here. I'm definitely coming back! If you are looking for genuine Cantonese flavors, this spot is a must-visit. Everything we ordered was prepared exactly how traditional Cantonese food should be, starting with the claypot rice. The texture was spot on, and they nailed the perfect crispy rice crust at the bottom alongside the flavorful Chinese sausage and cured pork. My only minor critique is that I wished the sweet soy sauce poured over the top had just a little more saltiness to balance out the richness of the meats, but the execution was still excellent. The rest of the meal was just as impressive. The garlic water spinach was perfectly stir-fried—bright, crisp, and not greasy at all—while the shredded chicken platter was incredibly tender and beautifully presented with fresh herbs, red onions, and peanuts. It was also a nice traditional touch that the meals came with a clean, comforting soup of the day. To top it all off, the Hong Kong-style milk tea was a major highlight of the meal. It was smooth, rich, and thankfully not overly sweet, which really allowed the deep tea flavor to shine through. Authentic Cantonese food. I’ve been here twice and both times the food was amazing. Hard to find real Cantonese food in DFW especially with such good prices. The steamed pacific oysters with garlic sauce was outstanding and a must have. Looking forward to next time.

Visited a second time to try different dishes. All scrumptious, just adding more pictures. . . Everything was so delicious I couldn't pick a favorite. Thank you Carmen for your great recommendations and remarkable service. Wanted to try more items on their menu but there's only so much one could eat in a single visit. I did order half salt-baked chicken to go though. Couldn't wait to go back for the "Big Crab Rice". Highly recommend.
